Who we are
Bill&Go is a point-of-sale and ordering service for restaurants and cafés, made by BasilBook in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It is the website at billandgo.app, the console at console.billandgo.app, the till, the Bill&Go POS, Console and Rider apps, and Bill&Go Printing.
These terms are between BasilBook and the shop that signs up, through its owner. By creating a shop or using Bill&Go, the shop agrees to them.
Your account and your shop
- The owner. The person who creates the shop is its owner, and is responsible for the shop's use of Bill&Go and for the people they add to it.
- Your team. The owner and managers add staff, managers and riders, and choose what they can do. Each person signs in with their own account; do not share sign-ins.
- Keep it safe. Keep passwords to yourself and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
- True details. Give us a real business name and an email the owner reads. We send billing and account emails there.
Plans, trial and payment
Bill&Go has four plans. Prices are in US dollars; a year costs ten months' price.
- Free — $0.
- Starter — $15 a month, or $150 a year.
- Growth — $29 a month, or $290 a year.
- Pro — $59 a month, or $590 a year.
What each plan includes is on the pricing page.
The free trial. A new shop gets Pro free for 30 days, with no card. When the trial ends and no plan has been chosen, the shop is on Free. Nothing is charged after the trial unless the owner chooses a paid plan.
Paddle takes the payment. Paid plans are sold through Paddle (Paddle.com), our reseller and the merchant of record. Paddle takes the payment, adds local tax where it is due, sends the receipt and invoice, and handles refunds. Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the purchase. Plans are bought only in the console on the web, never in the mobile apps.
Renewal and cancelling
- It renews. A paid plan renews by itself every month or every year, as chosen, until it is cancelled. Paddle charges the card on file at each renewal.
- Cancel any time. In the console, open Billing and choose Cancel plan, or choose Free. It takes effect at the end of the period already paid, and the shop keeps its paid plan until then.
- A payment that fails. Paddle tries again. The paid plan stays meanwhile, and the owner is asked to update the card (Manage card and invoices, in Billing).
Refunds are explained in the refund policy.
Changing or ending a plan
- Another plan, or monthly to yearly. Starts at once; Paddle works out the difference for the days left (prorated).
- Yearly to monthly. Starts at the end of the year already paid.
- Nothing is switched off. When a shop moves to a smaller plan, or a plan or trial ends, it keeps its data, stores, products and the connections it has already set up. Only adding more than the plan allows is refused.
- Orders are never refused. On Free, going past 1,000 orders in a month only brings a notice.
Your data and your customers'
The shop owns its information: its menu, orders, reports and its customers' details. We keep it on the shop's behalf, use it only to run Bill&Go for the shop, and never sell it. The shop is responsible for having the right to the customer information it puts into Bill&Go.
What we keep, who helps us and for how long is in the privacy policy.
Fair use
When using Bill&Go, do not:
- use it for anything unlawful, or to sell what the law does not allow;
- try to break into it, slow it down, get round its limits, or reach another shop's information;
- copy it, or resell or rent access to it to others;
- send spam or harmful content through it to customers or anyone else.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Bill&Go running every day the shop is open, and to fix what goes wrong quickly. Like any online service, it can sometimes be slow or stop for a while, for example for an update or because of a problem with the internet or a company that helps us.
We improve Bill&Go all the time, and features change. If a change takes away something a paying shop uses, we tell the owner by email before it happens.
Liability
Bill&Go is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for lost profits, lost sales or indirect losses, and our total responsibility to a shop is limited to what the shop paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing here takes away a right the law says cannot be taken away.
Ending
The shop can leave any time. The owner deletes the shop in the console, in Settings → Delete shop. A paid plan ends at once. The shop is deleted 30 days later, and until then the owner can choose Keep my shop. The sales records the law says a business must keep are kept, with the customers' details taken off them; everything else is deleted — how deleting works.
We may suspend a shop that breaks these terms. We tell the owner why, and give them the chance to put it right unless the harm is serious or the law requires us to act at once.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia. If we disagree, we will first try to settle it by talking; if that fails, the courts of Phnom Penh decide.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes. If a change matters to shops, we email owners before it takes effect.
